What is EIM?

EIM, Environmental Information Management, is the world's largest commercial on-demand environmental data management system.

EIM is a robust, web-based relational database that manages the vast quantities of sampling, analytical, geological and geotechnical data collected during the investigation, cleanup, and long-term monitoring of contaminated environmental sites or emission sources.

EIM completely replaces existing stand-alone data systems and reporting tools to provide a comprehensive integrated solution to one of the environmental industries most vexing problems - the centralization and management of complex data. EIM is flexible and customizable to meet almost every user's data management needs and includes robust upload, reporting and data visualization modules. EIM supports complete electronic data processing from direct laboratory imports to state-mandated regulatory exports. EIM's comprehensive visualization tools provide a complete software solution for managing environmental data. EIM's On-Demand platform and rich feature list will change the way you think about and manage your mission critical environmental data.

EIM is available to single and corporate enterprise customers as an online On-Demand service on a subscription basis.

How Does EIM Work?

EIM is accessed through the Internet using state-of-the-art security. Your only required software is an Internet browser.

Users electronically upload environmental data in flexible, customizable formats. They review, analyze, and evaluate data with sophisticated built-in tools, which include statistical analyses, boring logs, interactive charts, Google Maps, treemaps, Scalable Vector Graphic maps and cross sections, and cross-tabular reports to output the data in whatever format required.

EIM is available 24/7 and can be used by distributed (U.S. and international) project teams for single sites or across an entire portfolio of sites. You enter the data, you control the access, you store, manage, share, collaborate, report and take control of your environmental data.

Data are secure, accessible, backed up with redundant systems and maintained for the entire project life-cycle, no matter how many years or how many contractor or consultant changes occur.

EIM supports analytical chemistry and biology data for soil, water, quantitative air, and other media. Field data can also be uploaded via PDA synchronization and our eWell application. EIM also supports wireless sensing technologies.
