Built on the same innovative technology that drives Locus’ EIM environmental database, Powered by Locus gives analytical laboratories a new, easy way to deliver environmental data to customers, taking advantage of the EIM technology's superior data handling and data review features. Lab customers can now review Electronic Data Deliverables (EDDs) online for a range of attributes, sort and search the data online, and download the EDD in multiple formats, including Excel, Word, HTML XML, and text formats.
This enhanced service is a key differentiator in the competitive laboratory business and using Powered by Locus gives lab customers many more options for data review and web-based delivery than ever before.
Analytical laboratories access Powered by Locus online service and upload environmental data deliverables (EDDs) to customers in a flexible, searchable interface. Labs can specify data formats, batch upload data sets, set up client access, and notify users of new activities--all from a simple online interface. Lab customers can go to the site, search for EDDs and download their data in easy-to-use formats of their choice, either by individual EDD or by Sample Delivery Group (SDG). Customers can review data online and let the lab know immediately of any issue with the EDD, with no need to get the data into another program or wait for someone to import a file into a stand-alone database. Errors are identified and fixed quicker and data are in formats that anyone can use.
